hello to GO ROCK, GO GREEN!

For any and all of you who will be in Korea for the latter half of July, get ready for the Jisan Valley Rock Festival 2009! The three-day rock fest will be held on July 24th (Friday), 25th, and 26th at Jisan Forest Resort. I’m completely jealous that I won’t be able to attend, but here are some of the AWESOME musicians who will be performing sometime on any of the three days:
Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World, Oasis, Priscilla Ahn, Weezer, and Deli Spice (check out the poster for more obviously).

I got this heads up from my friend Byungyoun when I asked him if there would be any cool festivals going on in Korea during the months of July or August (I’ll talk about why I actually asked him about this in another post). Anyway, if any of you are interesting in going, you can buy a 1-day ticket for 88,000 won, a 2-day ticket for 132,000 won, a 3-day ticket for 165,000 won, and if you’re adventurous enough and feel like camping out you can pay an extra 10,000 won to pitch a tent or whatever (this is only available for 2-day or 3-day ticket holders). Click here to purchase tickets!
